To Pat & the Mile High Nurses Honor Guard
Thank you so very much for honoring the nursing career of my mother, Helen Lamothe. She was an inspiration in every way and made a lasting impact on our profession. She was incredibly proud to be a nurse and was beloved by her patients. Thank you for honoring her legacy and paying tribute for her service.
With deep appreciation,
Danielle Schloffman & family
Hi Pat and Lauren,
The nursing honor guard was hands down the hit of my mom’s celebration of life! We received so many comments from our guests about how meaningful and special it was. They loved every part of it and were so touched by the remarks, poem, ringing of the bell and roll call. People are still talking about it days later. It really blew them away and left a lasting impression.
My cousin took a video of it so I am hopeful she can send it to me so you can add it to your website. I attached a photo I took in the meantime. And I will do my best to keep spreading the message to other nurses that your group exists.
Thank you again all so very much for giving of your time, energy, and dedication to this volunteer work. It is making a difference!

Hi Pat!
I’ve been meaning to send you a note. We all just LOVED the tribute to mom that you did. I had several people tell me later how meaningful it was and that they were moved to tears.
My brother is still working on the video, so I have yet to see it. There was a small glitch at one point that it stopped recording. I don’t know if it was during your tribute or a bit later. Steve is going to splice it together. Hopefully it will turn out okay.
Thank you again for the tribute to mom. I like to think that she was sitting next to me in spirit feeling very honored.

Thank you again for your tribute to our mom, Rose. It was a year ago this weekend. It was such a moving part of the funeral. As a nurse, and as her daughter, I thought it was so important and meaningful.

From Robison Family (Aug 2025)
Pat,
We as a family want to thank you and your team for coming out and honoring Martha "Marty" Robison. Everyone said what a beautiful way to honor her and her service as a nurse. We are all back to work and trying to carry on with our lives as mom wanted and as our father wants now. We will be sending a thank you card to your chapter but it will be later due to us being in 3 different states at the moment. However we want to place a donation to the Mile High Honor Guard. I will be going to your web site to do so but wanted to let you know we so appreciated your presence there last Monday.
Thank you again

Hello.
The Mile High Nurses Honor Guard paid tribute to my wife R. H. at her celebration of life on Saturday, Oct. 26 at our church in Littleton. I was deeply moved by the tribute, as were many members of our congregation, family and friends. I wish to make a donation to your organization. How can I go about doing this?
Thank you,
M. H.
Hi Pat,
I have been meaning to write to you. The Mile High Nurse’s Honor Guard was such a moving part of the service. So many people came and asked about it. It felt so special to honor my mom’s time as a nurse. I can’t thank you all enough. This is an amazing service you offer. I had a few people ask me about getting in touch with the group for future services. Is giving out your email the best contact? Thank you all again, It meant so much to me and all of our family and friends, especially the nurses.
